The Angry Atheist #106 w/ Anton Hill -The Atheist Asshole

Spend an hour with Anton Hill also known as The Atheist Asshole.  We discuss the different ways people interact  on the internet and some of the ways certain words have become taboo. Should we expect a more factual argument from skeptics and atheists? Still a bit of friction going on in the skeptical/atheist circles so we talk about that. The internet is said to be a loudspeaker for everyone, some are louder that others. How long will it be before we can all become cyborgs?     Hi My name is Marcus, And I have followed your podcast and enjoyed ones like Jerry dewitt, atheist pastor and secret atheist. I have recently de-converted and I have been blogging my de-conversion at http://bittersweetend.wordpress.com/. And you were one of the few podcast I did follow. Considering I just de-converted, I thought might be interesting if you would like to do a podcast on someone who has very recently deconverted (July of this year). I thought it might be interesting considering your last couple episodes have been more focused on the atheist community/movement and things related to A+.     I have found very few podcasters willing to call foul on Skeptchics and Atheism Plus. Just a thought here, I have found that most independence loving “free thought” atheists have taken issue with these upstarts while science, tech loving “skeptic” atheists are confusing the group with the causes they invoke. I feel the skeptics possess a social naivete in that they aren’t using the same investigative and reasoning skills with the behavior of leading figures in this “movement”. Watson in particular strikes me as being dysfuctional (getting people banned or fired without offense- WTF). Hitchens wouldn’t have let this shit go on without pulling some pants down without mercy. Anyway, keep it up. Good show
